HOW TO GET THERE BY RAIL
Dartford Railway Station is within ten minutes walk of the venue. On leaving the station, turn right and walk past the Station car park on your left. Continue down the slipway and steps to the pedestrian crossing. Cross the road and turn left heading towards the main traffic lights. Cross the road at these lights and immediately turn right along Westgate Road. (Pizza Hut and B&Q will now be on your right on the other side of the road.) Take the first turning on the left which is Kent Road. (Kwik Fit is on the opposite side). Continue past the Westgate public car park on your left to the Air & Breathe Nightclub on your right, where you need to turn immediately right into Essex Road. The Dartford Working Men's (CIU) Club will be on your left. HOW TO GET THERE BY ROAD
Dartford Town Centre has an amazing and ever changing road system! To direct traffic to the club is a challenge in itself!
If you have a Sat Nav, you will need to enter the building number (40) as well as the postcode (DA1 2AU) as Essex Road is now split in two by Westgate Road.
The best land mark for the Folk Club is Prospect Place Retail Park, which includes Pizza Hut and B&Q, and is on Westgate Road. You need to be in Kent Road, a one way street next to Kwik Fit, and
almost opposite the Retail Park. Once in Kent Road, go past the car park on the left and then turn right into Essex Road, immediately after the Air & Breathe nightclub. The Dartford Working Men's
(CIU Affiliated) Club is just up this road on the left hand side.
WHERE TO PARK
Please note there is very limited parking available outside the club.
The new Westgate surface Car Park NO LONGER OFFERS FREE PARKING. Please check notices for evening charges. From here, you need to cross the road and walk up Essex Road to the Club which will be on
the left. Alternatively you can park in the Prospect Place Retail Car Park, near to Pizza Hut, where there is UP TO 4 HOURS FREE PARKING between 6.00 pm and midnight. Once parked, all you need to do
is cross Westgate Road and walk up Junction Road. This will bring you into Essex Road almost opposite the Working Men's Club.
