Seniors Coach Trip to Brighton, Wednesday 8^th July

The coaches to Brighton will leave promptly so you must be at the Club by 9am. As normal, the Club will be open from about 8.30am to allow travellers a comfort break before the journey.  

Please note that there will be bingo on 8^th July.

World Cup Matches

Be cool when watching England and other World Cup games at the Club instead of being a hot-head at home. The Club aims to screen as many World Cup games as possible so enjoy our air-conditioning when cheering your team on. England’s next game is against Congo DR on Wednesday, 1^st July at 5pm.

New Lager and Ciders

You might wish to note that the bar now sells Cruz Campo and Spitfire Lagers plus Kopparberg and Orchard View ciders. In addition, the bar also stocks ready-to-drink fruit juice cartons for children

Quiz Nights (starts around 8pm).

Quiz nights are on the first Wednesday of every month. As Traviss is currently on holiday, the next Quiz is on 5^th August.

Table-top Sale

There will be a “table-top sale” in the hall on Sunday, 30^th August between 10am and 1pm.

If you want to show off your products you can do so in exchange for a £5 donation per table to the Seniors and Children’s fund. If you are interested in having a table, please reply to this newsletter by providing your name, membership number and type of product offered.

Honky Tonk Evenings

Honky Tonk evenings: Always the 1^st Sunday of the month between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. There is a charge. The next one is on 5^th July. 

Elvis Disco, Hawaiian Beach Party, Saturday 4^th July

This Elvis disco on 4^th July is Hawaiian themed so wear your best Hawaiian shirt or dress on this occasion (but NO Elvis jumpsuits please). It is £5 cash or card on the door (15 and under free). For more info kinginkent@outlook.com .
